FCS Season V National Championship Game[edit]

The FCS Season V National Championship was a college football game that determined a national champion in the NFCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision for Season V of FCFB and the NFCAA. It was played at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX on ABC. This was the culminating game of the FCS Season V Playoffs. The championship featured the #1 seed Jackson State Tigers from the Delta Intercollegiate Conference and the #2 seed Eastern Washington Eagles, representing the Big Sky Conference. The win gave Eastern Washington their first national championship (and the Big Sky's second). Jackson State, for their part, appeared in their first overall CFP National Championship game. This was also the first (and to date, only) meeting of undefeated teams in a national championship at any level of the NFCAA.
