Medical Melee is the name given to the McNeese State–Saint Francis rivalry. It refers to the Fake College Football rivalry between McNeese State and Saint Francis of the Southland Athletic Conference and Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference respectively.

Sometimes known as Gambler's Paradise, the Medical Melee was drawn up by McNeese State coach, Chris Vulcrum, and Saint Francis coach, Gushbab Gushbabenbaben whenever they decided that they wanted to play each other. Much like The Shootout both coaches actually know each other in real life. Because they're friends, mind games are more common, which leads to the massive scores as seen in Season 5.

The name Medical Melee has gotten some questions. The original name proposed by Gushbabenbaben was Medical Marijuana vs. Arthritis. The reasoning? "St. Francis is a hospital and they recently legalized medical marijuana. Mcneese has the knees sound in it and that’s a joint, and arthritis makes joints weaker and stuff." - Gushbab Gushbabenbaben.

History[edit | edit source]

The first Medical Melee game was... interesting. There was too much that happened in the game to sum it all up. But I will. Gambling is fun. That's it. That's the summary. Lady Luck exists and her favorite was Saint Francis.
